The Hearing Instrument Manufacturers’ Software Association (HIMSA) was founded at the beginning of 1993 with the objective of developing, marketing and supporting Noah – one standard for integrated hearing care software.

Today, over 100 companies support the Noah software standard and have released Noah-compatible software. Most of these are hearing instrument and audiological equipment manufacturers, representing a market share of approximately 90 percent.
